William Reid
William Reid grew up in small town Idaho, but escaped to Seattle as soon as he could. A year-long foreign study in Ecuador primed his love of travel and new experiences. He graduated from the University of Idaho with majors in International Business and Spanish. He is happily engaged and works for Wizards of the Coast in the Organized Play Department.
What He Reads and Writes
Reid likes to read any good literature; A Hundred Years of Solitude is his favorite book, and he considers To Kill a Mockingbird one of the finest books of the twentieth century. But his tastes tend toward fantasy and science fiction, a love that began when he read his first Star Trek novel. George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire and anything by Neil Gaiman are his current favorites.

His writing tended toward science fiction until he took part in National Novel Writing Month in 2007. His idea for NaNo, a young adult urban fantasy called Shadow Soul, is his first novel to be polished enough to be sent out for publication.
